Use a damp sponge and, if necessary, a little washing-up liquid, then wipe with a soft cloth. Marble surfaces clean very well with glass cleaner: simply spray it onto the surface and wipe with a soft cloth or absorbent paper towel. Do not use rough cloths, as they may scratch the marble. Use table mats to prevent your dishes, and especially your cutlery, from damaging the tray.
